National Novel Writing Workshop

  • 480b Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY, 12866 United States (map)

Today our agenda is... Characterization and Theme: Your Characters' Choices and How An Overarching Theme Enlivens Your Story/Writing Time

Join us for FOUR sessions of Novel Writing! During each session, 20 minutes will be devoted to learning an element of fiction. Characterization, plot development, theme, setting and ‘writer’s block’. Writers will have 1-1.5 hours to focus on writing their novel in the company of other writers. Our workshop leader, Tara, will be on hand to read novels-in-progress as desired, provide support and encouragement, and give writing prompts as needed. During the last session, writers have the option to share their work in a workshop! Ages 16+
