FAQ

How do I register to play as a team?

If you already have a partner, one of you will register (team ticket) for a team. We’ll be in contact before the tournament to gather info, such as your individual names or team name.

How do I register to play as an individual?

Purchase an individual player ticket. We will pair you up with another individual player (in advance, if possible). 

How do the drink tickets work?

 With the purchase of any event ticket, you will receive a ticket for one beverage at Artisanal Brew Works on the day of the event. When you arrive and sign in, we’ll provide you with the ticket. Additional beverages are available to purchase from the bar area as well. 

Is there food included?

 Yes! We will provide light snacks, such as wings and pretzel bites, throughout the afternoon. Additional food is available for purchase from the Nature’s Edge Bistro located inside Artisanal.

What is the format of play for the cornhole tournament?

 If you are playing in the tournament, we ask that you arrive by 12:30 to sign in, get your board assignment, and have some time to get a drink and practice. There will be several rounds of play, with winners being the first to 21, or over 21 if tied. We will then have a single-elimination round to determine the winners. We will be using the app Scoreholio to keep score on tablets that are provided for the tournament. Expect to play cornhole from roughly 1-5pm with plenty of breaks for drinks and snacks, art making and connecting with our community. 

What if I’ve never played cornhole before?

Well then, this is a perfect time to try! This will be a casual, fun, and family-friendly event. We welcome all levels of players in the tournament.

If I’m a winner, what are the prizes?

We have terrific prizes provided by local businesses for 1st and 2nd place teams. The first place winners will choose from the following: “Dinner and Show” - enjoy a hearty Italian meal at Solevo and then head upstairs to Caffe Lena for live music - or - “Brew and Build”  - a gift certificate to Saratoga Joinery, our local woodworking shop, and a 4-pack of beer from Artisanal. The second place winner will receive the prize not chosen by the 1st place winners. 

What else will be happening throughout the event?

Cornhole play will start at 1 pm and last til roughly 4:30-5. Meanwhile, we’ll be serving up some light snacks and providing several art-making activities and table games throughout the afternoon. There is also a lovely hiking trail behind Artisanal where you can stretch your legs and enjoy nature. Live music will start at 5 pm, so feel free to stay and enjoy another drink or dinner. 

Is there a raffle?

We will once again be raffling off a set of custom-painted cornhole boards! The cool thing about cornhole boards is that they make the perfect canvas.
